Getting here

By tram

Use the Blatiny stop served by lines 9 and 10. From there, walk about 600 metres along Galandova street. Line 9 runs directly from Prague Main Station.

By bus

Use Škola Řepy (line 164 from Petřiny, Metro A) and walk about 180 metres, or Strojírenská (line 180 from Zličín, Metro B) and walk about 800 metres.

By taxi

Give the driver our address: Žalanského 1674/52a, Prague 17, Drive&Rent.

Pick-up and return

Fuel and cleanliness

Cars are normally returned refuelled and clean. Please use touchless car washes only. Prepaid refuelling and cleaning can be ordered; exceptional soiling is charged separately.

When and where can I collect the car?

Standard pick-up is at our Prague–Řepy branch. Delivery across the Czech Republic and 24/7 handover are available for a fee.

Late return

Late return is charged according to the price list. Please contact us immediately if your plans change.

Required documents

You need a valid driving licence, ID card or passport, the required deposit and you must be sober.

Driving

Where may I travel?

You may drive throughout the Czech Republic and Europe. A Czech motorway vignette is included and all cars use legally compliant winter tyres in season.

Roadside assistance

Unlimited 24/7 assistance is included throughout Europe. Kooperativa: 957 105 105 in the Czech Republic, +420 266 799 779 abroad.

Minimum age

You must have held the relevant driving licence for at least one year.

May I take the car to a race track?

No. Cars may only be used on public roads, purpose-built roads and access roads. No racing, drifting or rallying.

Fines and accidents

What if I damage the car?

Report all damage immediately and take photographs. Minor damage is charged according to the current damage price list.

What if I have an accident?

Contact the police, document the incident, complete the European Accident Statement and inform us immediately. The procedure is the same abroad.

Driving under the influence

Driving under the influence is strictly prohibited and can result in full recovery of damages, criminal penalties and contractual fines.

Payments and deposit

When do I pay?

A deposit is paid during online booking. The balance is paid at pick-up by card or cash unless agreed otherwise.

Minimum and maximum rental

The minimum rental is 24 hours. The maximum depends on availability and agreement.

Deposit and insurance

A refundable deposit depends on the vehicle category. All cars carry liability and comprehensive insurance; the standard excess can be reduced.

When is my deposit returned?

After the car has been checked. Cash or bank transfer can be immediate; card releases may take 3–5 working days depending on your bank.
